Espresso Martini, the ultimate after-dinner cocktail (though don’t let us tell you what to do if you’d like one at lunchtime).
Originally named the Vodka Espresso, it was renamed in the ’90s when Martinis were hip.
This iconic drink was created in 1983 in London by Dick Bradsell at the Soho Brasserie. The story goes that a well-known supermodel requested a drink that would “wake her up and f**k her up”. And voilà, that’s how the now-famous bittersweet pairing of vodka and coffee was first crafted.
