A Bit About Graham Norton Gin
Did you know Graham Norton Gin is produced under the kiwi Invivo brand, which has made its mark as an award winning wine producer? So how did a kiwi wine brand come to develop a Gin (a range of Gins actually) with eponymous Graham Norton?
The Invivo story when 2 school friends (Rob & Tim) caught up in a London bar to talk wine. Fast forward to 2008 and Invivo was launched. Based in one of New Zealand’s oldest wineries in Te Kauwhata, a small in the north Waikato.
Rapid growth and lots of wine awards followed. Fast forward again to 2014 and Graham Norton was a fan, launching a Sauvignon Blanc with the brand.
Then in 2018, discussing wine blends with Graham, the team ended an evening of wine with a round of martinis which is when Graham introduced the ideal of an Irish gin… and a plan was born.
Partnering with an Irish distillery was important to Graham’s and the team settled on a distillery near Graham’s West Cork home - the aptly named West Cork Distillers.
The kiwi Invivo lads, Graham and West Cork Distiller then worked together to create 3 premium small-batch gins including GN Marmalade GiN, which draws its fabulous flavour and colour from Spain’s famous Seville oranges with a blend of foraged Irish botanical. The result is a uniquely delicious blend of Marmalade Gin that’s definitely worth waking up for.
