2. Add 60mls of Forth Luck NZ Dry Gin

You’ll find The Forth Luck Gin distillery nestled in the Cust hills of Canterbury, a picturesque region known for its pristine landscapes and agricultural abundance.
The journey began with four childhood friends passionate about locally sourced, organic ingredients who were curious about distilling fine spirits with a commitment to local craftsmanship and who were keen to capture the essence of Canterbury. 15 years (and 1 lockdown) later, the group founded Forth Luck Gin.
Creating this award-winning Canterbury tipple didn’t happen overnight. The Forth Luck founders painstakingly selected and experimented with a range of local botanicals in order to craft a flavour profile that truly reflects the region’s diversity. Keen call out its local flavours as distinct from the traditional ‘London Dry’ style Gins that are widely available, the Forth Luck distillers have cannily called this award-winner a ‘NZ Dry’ Gin.
With meticulous attention to detail, they’ve sourced botanicals like native kanuka, manuka, and kawakawa, plus more traditional Gin ingredients - juniper berries, coriander seeds and citrus zest amongst others - to create a Gin with a distinctive Canterbury character. With awards and acclaim found within NZ and beyond, Forth Luck keeps to its roots. Crafted in small batches using traditional distillation techniques combined with modern innovation, every bottle produced is a labour of hand-crafted love.
