International Margarita Day

To celebrate International Margarita Day we have pulled together three of our favourite Margarita recipes for you to enjoy!

Blackberry Grapefruit Margaritas (serves 2)

Ingredients:

 - 6 parts blanco tequila
- 6 parts freshly squeezed  grapefruit juice
- 4 parts lime juice
- 1 part gomme syrup
- Splash of sparkling water
- 5-10 blackberries, muddled
- Sprinkles or sugar or salt to coat the rim

How To:

- Run a wedge of lime across the top of 2 cocktail glasses. 
- Once damp, coat the rim in sprinkles or sugar or salt.
- Add all the ingredients except the sparkling water into a
cocktail shaker with a few cubes of ice.
- Shake for 30 seconds until chilled and then strain the margaritas
into serving glasses with new ice.
- Top with a splash of sparkling water in each glass and serve immediately.

 Mango Orange Margarita (2 serves)

Ingredients:

- Chilli Lime salt for the rim of your glass
- 6 parts Orange Juice
- 6 parts Mango Nectar
- 1 part Gomme syrup
- 3 parts Tequila
- 1 part Lime Juice
- Ice
- Lime wheel garnish (optional)

How to:

- Run a wedge of lime across the top of 2 cocktail glasses.
Once damp, coat the rim in your chilli lime salt.
- Fill a shaker ½ way with ice.
- Combine orange juice, mango nectar, gomme,
tequila and lime juice and shake for 20-30 seconds.
- Pour your Mango Orange Margaritas
evenly into your rimmed glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedge.

Strawberry-banana frozen Margarita (2 serves)

Ingredients:

- 1 cup chopped, frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana peeled, chopped and frozen
- 6 parts tequila
- 2 parts triple-sec
- 1 part lime juice
- 1 cup crushed ice

How to:

- Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend in short
spurts until mixture is smooth but still thick.
- Split mixture between two glasses, garnish as you please. Enjoy!
